Content Laws

With regards to any legal concerns within our industry, the founders of IAWC and its staff have always and continue to be 100% committed to strictly complying with content laws of both North America & Europe.  In addition, we guarantee that any content that will be used on your site(s) will be compliant with these laws.

Reservations and Payment

Full payment must be received by IAWC administration no more than two weeks from the date of your registration confirmation via a financial institution.

Registration placement will not be held if payment has not been received within the above mentioned time. Each individual when making payments to IAWC for any services or offerings must agree they are doing so using their own personal funds.

If you are using the funds of a third party, you are hereby stating that you have been given the authority to act on behalf of the third party to request authorization of such transaction.

Additionally, you must understand that you are responsible for all damages, bank fees, credit card fees, or penalties that may be associated with the unauthorized use, transfer, or disclosure of credit or bank account information (e.g. charges associated with frozen funds, disputes, reversals, refunds, legal fees, court fees, or any applicable penalties).


Cancellations/Changes

REVISIONS/CHANGES

Changes to arrival dates can be made up to two weeks prior to your registered course date. Full payment must be received prior to any changes.  There are no additional fees for arrival date changes.  However any additional fees incurred by hotel and airline accommodation changes are not the responsibility of IAWC.

Registrations must be fulfilled within 1 year from the original booking date and are subject to availability.

CANCELLATION

In the event of a personal or family emergency cancellation is permitted.  At this time, IAWC will assist in rescheduling your course date for you.  In the event you are unable to attend indefinitely, IAWC will make every attempt to refund your course fee.  This matter will be dealt with on an individual basis between yourself and the administration of IAWC.  

Responsibility and Liability

IAWC accepts responsibility for providing professional guidance.

IAWC is not responsible for your health, safety, and/or general welfare, nor is IAWC liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.  IAWC reserves the right to refuse, limit or cancel any training if you have in the opinion of IAWC displayed unreasonable behavior or is deemed to be violent, abusive or disruptive. In such cases no refund will be given.

General Health and Medical

Personal health and/or traveler insurance coverage in the event of illness, accident, or death is your responsibility. Each individual must provide their own health and accident insurance and not hold IAWC responsible for their health, injury, or death at any time prior to, during, or after completion of the course.

IAWC may provide you with a list of recommended independent insurance carrier(s). However, IAWC is not responsible for any transactions that may take place between you and any such third party.

If you have a medical condition that could potentially affect your attendance, training, or the training of your peers you must notify IAWC in advance. Additionally, should you fail to notify IAWC of any medical condition that could inhibit your training or the training of others your offer of acceptance to an IAWC course, even a current course, may be withdrawn by an authorized IAWC representative and will be subject to the refund policy (see Cancellations and Rescheduling).

You must provide IAWC with the emergency contact information of a relative or significant other that would be able to advise IAWC about the management of your welfare in the event of an emergency or situation where you cannot act on your own behalf. The contact information for that person shall consist of his/her telephone numbers, email addresses, and the postal mailing address where he/she may be reached. Additionally, IAWC is not at any time liable for the exchange of personal information between an authorized IAWC representative and your designated emergency contact should such exchange be necessitated to promote your well-being. Should you fail to do so, IAWC will be limited in its role to assist you in the event of an emergency.

Visas

You are responsible for obtaining an appropriate Visa, where required, prior to your entrance to Curacao, Netherland Antilles. If you are required to obtain a Visa, you must contact the appropriate Embassy or consulate for conditions of the visa and obtain appropriate documentation prior to entry.

Safety

It is your responsibility to obtain information regarding general safety as it relates to travelling abroad and to obtain any such necessary notifications or warnings as they may relate to your safety and travelling abroad. At no time shall IAWC be held responsible or liable for suggestions made or information provided with regard to the safety of a particular country or region of the world.

Course Requirements

You are to be punctual for every class, and for any such required meetings or assigned meetings that relate to your class work and that may not occur during the designated class time. Continual tardiness will be grounds for dismissal from the course and under these conditions subject to the refund policy (see Cancellations and Rescheduling). 100% attendance is imperative.

Absences may be made up at the discretion of the IAWC Lead Instructor. Any unprofessional behavior, or manner that is not in accord with the local culture or environment, will be grounds for dismissal from the course without recourse thereof.

You must successfully pass all components of the course in order to be eligible to receive IAWC certification. In the event that you do not pass the IAWC Certificate Course it may be possible to retake components of the course at the discretion of the IAWC Staff, however, additional fees may apply.

Accommodation

Arrangement of flight and hotel accommodations is your responsibility.  IAWC may assist in arranging accommodations in the unlikely event it is necessary. If you accept the assistance of IAWC in this respect, you have no recourse against IAWC with respect to location, quality, cost, or otherwise as it relates to the place of residence arranged by IAWC.

IAWC shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or injuries to persons or property that may occur at any accommodation arranged through IAWC or otherwise.

In the event you choose to terminate your accommodation prior to the relevant check out date, refunds are at the discretion of your place of accommodation.

Application and Applicant Background Information

All applicants must agree they have not knowingly misrepresented themselves to IAWC or its authorized representatives in any way. In addition you agree to have disclosed the true disposition of any past, pending, or potential future criminal status. Discovery of any of the above stated may be grounds for immediate withdrawal of acceptance offer, ineligibility for a future IAWC course, or dismissal from a current course in which you are enrolled. Under these circumstances the IAWC refund policy applies (see Cancellations and Rescheduling).

Conduct

During your course classes, you are to behave in a courteous and professional manner with your fellow peers, instructors, administrative staff, or any person associated with IAWC. Inappropriate conduct, abuse, or damage to school or vendor property will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the course. No refund or any portion thereof will be given (see Cancellations and Rescheduling). In such a case, the decision of the IAWC administration is final.

Information, Electronic Correspondence, and Brochure

The information contained in all electronic correspondence, including the IAWC web site, and in printed material is accurate. However, it may be subject to errors, changes, omissions, availability of courses, or withdrawal of special offers without notice. It is your responsibility to contact an official IAWC representative for periodic updates as terms of this course offering are subject to change without notice.

Additionally, it is your sole responsibility or responsibility of your authorized representative to check for all continuous email correspondence from an authorized IAWC representative. All official correspondence shall be conducted via email unless you otherwise indicate on your application or in written form that this is not a suitable mode of communication. Should your email address or pertinent contact information change, you are to notify IAWC within a reasonable amount of time.
